Vito A. Pietanza heads the team with over 40 years of insurance experience. Having founded Summit Coverages, Ltd in 1979, Vito brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his partnerships, including a sharp eye on evolving market trends. His strong relationships with our carrier partners and clients, knowledge of diverse insurance exposures, and deep understanding of insurance market behavior ensure our clients receive the best return on investment for their coverage. Vito has a B.B.A. degree in Marketing and a B.A. in Political Science from Baruch College.
Rino G. Pietanza joined Summit Coverages in 2004. He actively manages client relationships with a specialty in complex personal insurance and commercial real estate situations. Rino holds designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS). He recently obtained the Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation at the Wharton School of Business. He is President of the Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater NY. Rino holds a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics from Fordham University.
